Conner Cupit is the Managing Partner and CEO of Greenbriar Restaurant Holdings. With more than 25 years in the restaurant and food service industries, Conner has cultivated a wealth of knowledge and experience across roles ranging from operations to brand marketing to business development and strategic planning, spanning a variety of restaurant concepts, food brands and companies from small, emerging startups to blue chip, global businesses.
Conner began his professional career in the restaurant industry with Brinker International, taking on a variety of roles during his eight years with the company, working across many restaurant brands, including: Chili's Grill & Bar, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Corner Bakery Café, On the Border, Romano’s Macaroni Grill and Cozymel’s.
Prior to founding Greenbriar, Conner served as a marketing executive for PepsiCo, holding positions in Brand and Shopper Marketing, Channel Strategy, Product Innovation and Foodservice.
He received his MBA in Finance and Consulting from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business in 2005 and his BBA in General Management from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business in 1996.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Longview Economic Development Corporation in Longview, TX, and also serves on the North Texas Underwriting Committee for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He frequently serves as a mentor to young entrepreneurs, has been invited to guest lecture at the University of North Texas College of Business in Denton, TX, on entrepreneurship and career planning and serves as an educator in the Junior Achievement program for secondary education.
FOUNDER & CEO
Kate Votruba is the Director of Finance and Accounting for Greenbriar Restaurant Holdings, managing all finance and accounting functions for the company. She has a significant background as a senior financial services and accounting professional within the restaurant industry, utilizing her financial acumen and industry experience to develop short and long-term growth strategies, company planning and daily accounting and financial operation.
Prior to joining Greenbriar, Kate was the Senior Accounting Manager of Long Term Assets, Leases, and Project Accounting for Bar Louie, with responsibilities for over 100 locations throughout the country. In that role, Kate had the responsibility of managing periodic close for fixed assets, other long-term assets and operating leases. She was also responsible for ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information through reviews, reasonableness tests, and analytical assessments.
Kate’s background also includes financial services and accounting roles with multi-unit restaurant and hospitality companies, including Pollo Campero International, Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse, Eight O Management, CRG Hospitality Management and Lincoln Restaurant Group. She holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Nebraska.
ACCOUNTING & FINANCE
Dusti Unger is the Director of Training and Development for Greenbriar Restaurant Holdings, handling all human resources, training and management of special projects for the company. Dusti strategically works with all restaurant operations leaders to create and implement the most relevant training programs across all levels of the operation, including the Manager In Training program. Dusti also leads Greenbriar’s succession planning efforts to ensure the best and brightest talent are given a clear path and direction to achieve their fullest potential within the organization.
Dusti brings an expansive background in the foodservice industry, holding a variety of roles with industry leaders such as Sonic Drive-Ins, Coca Cola, PepsiCo/Frito Lay and Dr Pepper Snapple Group. She received her BA in Marketing from Washington State University.
She is also an active member of a non-profit organization, serving as the North Texas Marketing Chair for the Head for the Cure Foundation.
